the radio concert

As we launched our new pack on our home in Seychelles - honestly - we wanted to throw a huge party…. but clearly that was not going to happen for a host of reasons. So the plan became simple…. if we couldn’t party under one roof - we would still find a way to celebrate together. We got some of the islands biggest names in music together, hosted them at our home at La Plaine St Andre and then working with the no. 1 radio station - Pure FM - we put on a 6 hour live concert. No adverts, no break - just amazing live Kreol music.

We had a hiccup… bad weather steamed in - and basically antenna we erected got knocked down so no one could hear anything but static…. so while this was getting fixed - a mighty band of rum enthusiasts hit the road - armed with limited edition Takamaka sunglasses and a general goodwill to all of human-kind - and started distributing that love.

It has to be said - the day didn’t go exactly to plan and our famous amazing weather failed us somewhat on the day - however the kind folk at Pure decided because the sound quality wasnt that great - they played the whole concert from start to finish again the following week…..

Honestly - unbelievably great music from an incredibly talented team of musicians…. something to be repeated when we can pack 500 onto our grounds at LPSA!
